I have heard somewhere that men make better cooks. Well i think it is because of the fact that they are resilient. They learn from their mistakes, and more importantly, never repeat them. At least this is applicable for those who have contributed for the statement that is italicized above. And, you realize things like these punchlines only when you make a mistake of your own.
These were the cooking instructions mentioned:
Boil 10 cups of water in a large pan, let the water bubble. Drop the noodles and boil them for only 2 minutes. The noodles are cooked aldent. (Aldent: means partially cooking the noodles or leaving it slightly "Kachcha"). Drain the noodles and spread on a flat surface and toss in 1 tea-spoon of oil on the noodles to prevent sticking and proceed with your chosen dish.
Well, all i did was to follow the same instructions to end up experiencing disaster.
Tragic night isn't it?
No no. You guessed it wrong. I did not eat them. If it had happened so, just for a safety precaution, i might have clicked myself and would have added it right here.
Lesson learnt :
Never trust the statement boil them for only two minutes which they highlight the most. I have taken an oath not to
- Read the instructions anymore
- Never repeat the procedure that i followed this time

- Ample amount of water
